Statement:

 

Foster leadership to enable community authority and input into decision-making and monitoring of health and social care policies and practices to maintain uniform, high standards of service delivery.

 

Goals:

 

Alcohol and Drug Services:

 

Activate principles of harm reduction, including but not limited to exploring the option of safe injection sites, with adequate funding, including minimizing harmful consequences of addictions, humane and practical help for addicted persons, inclusive treatment options with aftercare, prevention, and education.
